"Shikoku" consists of four prefectures: Kagawa, Tokushima, Ehime, and Kochi. Going around each of the 88 Buddhist temples related to Kukai (a famous Buddhist monk in Japan) in Shikoku is called "Ohenro-san" (pilgrimage). Humans have 88 kleshas (worldly desires), and it is said that these kleshas will be fulfilled if one visits the 88 sacred places of Shikoku. During the pilgrimage, it is common to wear a white outfit or a Kasa (an umbrella-like hat woven with sedge) and hold a Kongo-zue pilgrima
