The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Altadena Sheriff’s Station, hosted the “Adopt a Faithful Friend,” Pet Adoption Event in partnership with the Pasadena Humane Society. This event was open to the public and aimed to help pets find permanent, loving homes while strengthening community engagement and supporting public safety. One pup didn’t have to wait long. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is proud to announce 23 recruits from the reserves academy class 143 graduated today and earned the title of Reserve Deputies/Officers. Of the graduates, 18 are with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, 3 from Port Hueneme Police Department, 1 from Orange County Sheriff’s Department and 1 from Claremont Police Department.
