Acrocanthosaurus – The High-Spined Predator 🦖 Acrocanthosaurus lived about 110 million years ago in the Early Cretaceous of North America. It was a massive theropod, reaching up to 11.5 meters long, with tall neural spines along its back that gave it a distinctive profile. Fossil trackways and its powerful build suggest it hunted large prey, most likely the giant sauropods like Sauroposeidon that lived in the same region. It may also have taken down ornithopods and other herbivorous dinosaurs.
