A long ship is an ingenious construction, where nothing is incidental. The animation demonstrates the construction of the Sea Stallion from Glendalough, a reconstruction of the almost 30-metre-long Viking warship, Skuldelev 2. The reconstruction was built in full scale at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde, Denmark where both the original 1000 year old ship and the sailing reconstruction can be seen.
