Exploring ideas of both tailoring and couture, the LOEWE Fall Winter 2024 women’s show subverts the language of each design process, melding the masculine and feminine, juxtaposing hard and soft lines. Notions of class and wealth are questioned through Etonian-inspired garb, mosaic jewellery, and hand-embroidered dresses and bags. Craft is heightened through meticulous processes of caviar beading, micro mosaicking, mille feuille sliced chiffon, and wood carving to create clothing with presence.
