The first of two new thermal hydrolysis process trains has been successfully installed at the Morris Forman Water Quality Treatment Center in Louisville, Kentucky - a key part of modernizing the plant’s biosolids handling system. The thermal hydrolysis process will use heat and pressure to break down solids, producing more clean energy and high quality Class A biosolids for beneficial reuse. Our cutting edge Thermal Hydrolysis Plant at Minworth sewage treatment works near Birmingham is starting to take shape. The £60m scheme will change the way that we treat waste before generating green power and it’ll make the process considerably more efficient.
