For the first award, for outstanding directorial achievement in theatrical feature film, the nominees are Paul Thomas Anderson ( One Battle After Another ), Ryan Coogler ( Sinners ), Guillermo Del Toro ( Frankenstein ), Josh Safdie ( Marty Supreme) and Chloé Zhao ( Hamnet ).
