A big rig overturned Sunday morning on northbound U.S. Highway 101 just south of Redwood City, after a collision that left the two drivers involved with minor injuries. Two lanes remained closed as of about 12:15 p.

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a flatbed big rig in an intersection on the west end of Escondido, police said. The crash happened about 10:40 a.m. at Meyers Avenue and Barham Drive, Escondido police said.

At least one person was injured Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash that closed part of the 101 Freeway in East Hollywood. Details about what led to the crash involving a big rig were not immediately available.
