The G0771Z seems like a good deal on a decent homeowner hybrid saw that is capable of good service, but is clearly a lighter duty saw. Setup and blade selection are always critical, but even more so with the hybrid due to the smaller motor than the G1023.

Hi I’ve out grown my dewalt and shopping for used saw. I’m looking at a laguna f1 and grizzly G0962A40 40 anniversary ed. both about the same price and work with 110v which I need. What are your thoughts. Do you have any experience with either?
I am looking at the G0771Z which is 2HP, 120v for $995. This price would allow me to have no guilt about purchasing the $300 grizzly outfeed rollers add-on which I think would be awesome instead of building a stationary outfeed table.
Has anyone bought or seen the newer Grizzly G0899? I need a saw, I can’t do 240 in my rental, so this seems the closest thing to a cabinet saw in 115v. There’s very little information online. Is there another option I should consider? I’m in the $1k-2k price range.
